Overview
I spent 11 successful years at News International, the mother company of The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun and The News of The World. During my time there I worked in various design roles, including Senior Designer, Chief Designer and Head of Design for Times Online. I worked on two major launches of Times Online, including TOL 2.0 which won two awards and commendation for its design.
The TOL 2.0 project was in conjunction with Sapient Nitro, and along with Tomaso Capuano, now Creative Director at the Wall Street Journal, we worked together with Sapient designers to create all the designs for the new site. This included designs for each section, and designs of all the modules that created the building blocks of the site. We then directed all the code teams and product teams to create the new site elements and take the site to live.
